Lake Catherine is 11 miles long covering over 1,940 acres as it winds through the narrow valleys of the Ouachita Mountains. You'll have your pick of largemouth bass, spotted bass and striped bass, crappie, bream, and catfish and walleye fishing. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission operates a rainbow trout fishery stocking the lake's tail-waters below Remmel Dam. You'll find that the lake is also popular for water-skiing, swimming and other water sports.
